How to install a dashcam in your car(the front part)?

The steps are as follows:

  • Insert the Samsung Select Evo memory card in the Kingslim D4 4K dashcam. Do not use any average memory card in this one. And more importantly, do not get it out or insert it when the camera is turned on.
  • Put the bracket in its dedicated slot on the camera.
  • Clean the position you want to station the dashcam with a dry cloth. Do it with attention as it is important to keep a stronghold of the dashcam.

Use an alcohol-based cleaner to properly clean the surface you designated to fix the dashcam on. A single bit of dirt can make the adhesive tape weak, and that is not a good thing. An unclean surface will make the dashcam’s grip weak, leading to a bad video recording.

  • Pick a static sticker, take its film off, and stick it in your chosen position. Be careful about not leaving any air on the surface.
  • Take one double-sided adhesive tape, peel one side off, and attach it to the dashcam.
  • Peel the other side off, and strongly place it on the static sticker.
  • Maneuver the angle of the camera, and see which angle you like the most.
  • Insert the power cable into the USB power port of the dashcam, and connect it with the car charger that came in the box.
  • Plug the charger into the center console of your car’s dashboard. After all of this, organize the cables.

Use the crowbar provided with the device to clear the cables.
